BIRTA VILLAGE -

Located
on Mount Semenic, at 1445m altitude, surrounded by magnificent scenery, BIRTA
Village offers the opportunity of spending the holidays and the weekends away
from the pollution and the noise of the cities. The tourists can enjoy the fresh
air of the mountains and the comfort offered by our modern villas, benefiting
from the harmonious union between pleasure and usefulness.
Starting
from 2002, conferences, symposiums, reunions may be organised at BIRTA Village
on a new location. It is a two-storey building, on the ground floor being the
80-place restaurant-room where parties can be held.
On the upper floor there is a conference room of
20-30 places, a protocol room and a bar. The conference room is equipped with a
Powerscreen (over-dimensional TV that may be connected to phone, fax, computer,
Internet; it may be used as a monitor for the computer, used for teleconferences
or even play DVD films, offering the viewers an excellent quality of image). The
conference room is also equipped with a panel that can print the text written on
it on the touch of a button, all that due to a mechanism resembling the ones
used for printers, copy and fax machines. Moreover, a projector, a mobile stand
for discourses are also offered to the participants, there being the possibility
of simultaneous translations in and from different international languages.

BIRTA
Village is formed of 10 double bedrooms with American waterbeds, electrically
heated, 2 double bedrooms with separate beds, 5 apartments, and an imperial
suite (made up of bedroom, living room and office, bar, kitchen and bathroom
with Jacuzzi). Also, the Village has a restaurant, a disco, a parking lot inside
the village (free and guarded), as well as a free service for storing the
luggage and the values. The rooms: 1 double American waterbed (200x180) in each
of the two bedrooms of the villas, the temperature of the water in the
mattresses being adjustable with the help of a thermostat. There is an apartment
on the ground floor made up of a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with
an extensible couch and refrigerator, bathroom with bathtub. The villa also has
one bathroom on the first floor for the two bedrooms. The rooms also have
telephones, colour TV connected to a satellite antenna in every room. The
apartment has its own entrance door, separate from upstairs bedrooms. Also, the
Village may offer their visitors rooms with overlapped beds (4 to 6
places/room). The clients may use, on request, our room service. Pets (cats or
dogs) are allowed only if the owner agrees with hosting them in a special wooden
house, installed outside the villa (in front, or behind it, according to the
client's request). Costs of pet lodging will be presented to the client on their
signing in.
In
winter, BIRTA Village offers the client cable transportation - one ski-lift
(800m) and two baby-lifts (800m, respectively 700m) - American tubing and 5
snowmobiles.

One may also rent skiing outfits, as well as
full snowmobile outfits: Gore-Tex outfits, Siberian boots, leather gloves,
helmets with external ventilation.
